Tweedsmuir Cottage has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen/living area, as well as a large decked area and private garden. There is space for up to four people to sleep comfortably, with a pull out sofa-bed in the living area that can sleep two. Parking is provided for up to three cars, and bikes etc are welcome to be stored in our spacious shed.
The Cottage has modern Underfloor Heating throughout, with a personal thermostat for each room.
Kitchen / Living area
The kitchen/living area is the communal area of the cottage, with a spacious kitchen, oven and gas hobs, dishwasher, a washing machine (that is also a dryer), and large fridge/freezer. The living area includes a large TV with Sky "Family Pack". This includes all the best channels available on Sky. There is also a DVD player and a CD/Radio. The sofa can also be turned into a bed and can happily sleep two.
Master Bedroom
The Master Bedroom includes a large, modern wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a set of bedside cabinets. The Double Bed includes good quality down duvets and pillows.
The large window looks directly up the valley towards Tweedsmuir.
Second Bedroom
The Twin Bedroom consists of two matching single beds, each with a bedside cabinet. There is also a wardrobe, and a chest of drawers. The Private en-suite bathroom has an Italian mosaic Shower.
Both beds include good quality down duvets and pillows.
En-Suite Bathrooms
Both En-Suite Bathrooms include modern power showers, tiled floors, and luxury fixtures and fittings. The Master En-Suite has a large walk in shower, as well as a deep, large bathtub. It is also finished with luxury tiling around the shower. The Second En-Suite is finished with Italian mosaic, and large attractive tiling.
The underfloor heating means that stepping out of the shower feels wonderful under foot.
Decked area / Garden
Two Large French doors open onto a decked area with a set of table and chairs. The decked area has a ramp as well as steps. The private garden is fully sheltered and fully enclosed with several trees, shrubs and a colourful herbaceous border.
A wooden gate also helps to maintain privacy.
